Depth Chart plots the cumulative resting depth of up to five venues against distance from mid, on a pane of its own. A ladder tells you what sits at a price; this tells you how much is stacked up between here and there — the shape of a book rather than its rows — and read across venues it shows which one is genuinely deep and where another thins out. Each feed is an independent aggregate drawn as its own curve, measured against one reference book so every distance means the same thing for all of them. A selectable band from 0.1% to 5% moves the view between the liquidity that decides the next few ticks and the deep pockets further out, and the horizontal resolution is spent out of the entity budget rather than fixed, so fewer venues automatically buy smoother curves. Shading eases outward from the touch, keeping the part that matters most the heaviest part of the picture, while a legend states each venue's bid and ask totals inside the band.
